I can totally relate with the excitement of the day back then. My 49 year old heart hears ya! I remember asking the drugstore what day comics were delivered and what time of day........then getting a look of "WTF does this kid need to know that carp for?"..........then I'd show up every week at that time, work my way thru the spinner rack, looking for the Marvel Logo on the books and pulling the sweetest copies I could find.....all 8 of them......then pay for them & the tax with my dollar bill.

Pick up some chewing gum and a couple of root beers on the way home & then hit the couch for some reading. :cloud9
