It's the last two I need to complete the 219 MLJ run! How about a group buy, then I'll scan them, sell them on EBAY and 100% of the proceeds GO TO CHARITY?
Thoughts? Am I being too big of a tightwad here? After all, I started this project a mere 5 years ago!
On a side note, those of you who have bought the 213/216 book DVD can get the final, new, complete MLJ collection DVD (219 books) for a mere $10. Obviously I'll need those last two books first...
I think I may print the final DVD with a label and DVD jewel case!

Terrific! I'm sure all true MLJ fans can hardly wiat. Now that you've got Top-Notch 35, that leaves only one title to complete. I'm sure someone will purchase those two remaining issues and donate them to you.
I ordered a custom CD a while back, and Shawn told me then that he was getting #35, and if I didn't mind waiting, he'd include it in the custom CD after he'd scanned it. I told him it was worth the wait to get that book and complete my Top-Notch run! Well, it has been worth the wait.
Good work Shawn, I didn't realize it had taken five years for you to do this. Of course, time flies when you're having fun. It also flies even if you are aren't having such a good time, but how can you not have fun collecting and reading MLJ issues?
Let's all give him a great big hand.

The current bid is $90.00 & $95.00, can we get the active memebers to chip in $20.00?

You know what guys? I'm going to just buy them both and get them scanned. After all, people here did kick in $250 to buy these forums. Plus, I'm collecting MLJ again, and it'll be two more to cross off my list.
Obviously I'm going to keep "bidding" until my offer is accepted.

They're on the way tomorrow! Now all I need to do is design a jewel case insert and a DVD label.

That’s fantastic Shawn! I’ve been quietly waiting for this for years! You’ve done a great service for MLJ and Golden Age fans in general. I just wish I could have helped with more than just the scans of Jackpot #1. I guess I’d better start saving up for that DVD...
