I got the MLJ scans many years ago and have enjoyed them greatly, though I have not participated here. Recently I've been wondering if any work has been done to complete some of the incomplete scans.
I've downloaded some back covers, for example, from Heritage. Also by checking contemporaneous issues, it's usually possible to tell what the inside back cover, and inside front cover (except for indicia) should look like.
Some of the scans I have are apparently missing story pages. For example my scan of Zip #20 only has 52 images. It should, based on other issues have 68. Are the scans now available more complete than they were years ago?

I think Zip 20 is the only one that is missing a couple of stories - I have another copy now; I'll get around to scanning it soon!
Can you think of any other ones?

I'll give you a short and a long answer to this. Please remember that I got most of these scans years back so things may have changed. The issues that I have that appear seriously incomplete are:
Blue Ribbon 62 images should have 68 for complete book
Pep #20 58 images should have 68
Shield-Wizard #13 37 images should have 60 (or at least 52)
Top Notch #32 61 images should have 68
Zip #20 52 images should have 68
Zip #36 missing 2 centerfolds I believe
Zip #37 missing I think 7 pages I have 61 images
The longer answer is that many issues are missing one or two pages and I can't tell if it's ads or what. It's only obvious if it's covers that are missing

If any on my first list are complete on site, I'd certainly be willing to buy single issue upgrades.
Many of the ones on the second list, I believe I can complete in a month or so as I will have microfiche to tell what is missing and if it's ads, I can identify the same ad from a contemporary comic. I can send those additions to you if you'd like.

Most of these are missing ad pages, except for Shield-Wizard 13 and Zip 20. Also, I realize Zip 36 is missing a centerfold. All the rest should be a combination of house ad and interior/exterior covers. Good catch!
