Hi everyone, I need some opinions on descriptions. Can you tell me which one you prefer if you were to come across our website selling comics.

(1) The Beagle Boys #12, 1971, 15 cent cover price.
Grade is GD/VG 3.0
Major defects:
Bottom staple detached from cover, missing minor pieces on cover, ink scribbling on first page in unobtrusive spot, very minor soiling, worn spine with color breaking creases and minor tears.
Good qualities:
Book is complete, tan colored pages, bright colors, nice solid feel to it.
Price $2.50

We are trying to disclose all major defects and good qualities but I feel that #1 and #2 are being too thorough and descriptive for a $2.50 comic. How do you all feel about this?
Now with that in mind which description do you prefer for a comic we are selling for say..$20.00 or more?? #1 or #2?
We want to be considered as honest dealers with as much disclosure as we can offer but sometimes a paragraph of defects may sound much worse than they really are. Collectors will know what comes with an assigned grade but the novice collector might not.
Any suggestions?? Thanx in advance.
Hank.

Personally when I was selling comics on E-bay, I listed the major defects first before I listed the good qualities so the collector would know what he/she is getting.

Thanx Kelso. It's a good arguement either way, good points first or bad.
I think I'm leaning towards the answer now. Another poster on another board mentioned he only needs a grade, good scans and information pertaining to the part of the comic he can't see...the inside pages. I'm thinking thats the way to go.
By the way, are you the only one on these boards?? Not that I mind talking to you..LoL!
Take care.
