well, this will seem shallow and unimportant, but the main turnoff for me wrt PGX slabs is the label.
the information on the label is great, but the look of the thing just seems like something that was thrown together in Microsoft Paint or Word and printed out on Avery labels. and that logo needs a serious overhaul. which of course makes the slab less desirable, even though you buy the book and not the slab...
as Donut says, perception is reality. and as i said, this is a minor issue in comparison to the bigger issues addressed in this thread already. but if you want to be seen as a leader, you have to look at everything, imho
The use of the term "World" to denote their unrestored grade (akin to CGC's use of the term "Universal" to denote same) has always reminded me of the McDowell's/McDonald's relationship from the Eddie Murphy movie "Coming to America." "They have the golden arches, I have the golden arcs."

A more blatant trademark/trade dress infringement case I have not seen in a long time.
