You know, it would be neat to have a Strike board. If you decide to implement a strike system. Well, I would find it funny at least.

Hello all!

New member, hope this is the place for intro's.

I'm Hank, my wife is Pooser (Stacey), and my dog is Ruston.

I've been a comic collector for 35 years, (born 1968) and now have over twenty thousand gold, silver, bronze and copper comics.

My favorite superheroes are Batman and Spiderman and my favorite artist is Neal Adams!

I'm also a rock drummer for 28 years, touring, session drummer/singer, Cd's, video's etc. Bon Jovi, Motley Crue, Foo Fighters etc!

We're opening up an online comic book store Oct. 1, 2009 where we will be selling the same kind of books.

We want to move to San Diego permanently one of these years but right now are located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada..(BrRrrrr!)

We're on many other comic forums and have many friends in a bunch of the communities on the net as well as all over the world.

I can talk comics 24/7 and look forward to making friends here too!

Take care everyone, c-ya in the funny papers!

Hank.

Thanx Kelso, Steel town is great for old comics I've heard.

I know that for sure. Here in Pittsburgh, we have quite a few old comics shops.

From research I've done there are a lot of old homes there in Pennsylvania and that is the best you can find when looking for old comics. Any good scores from your area that you know of??

Before I sold off my collection, I managed to nail quite a few vintage Silver Age DCs from some yard sales and flea markets. Among them a few Neal Adams drawn issues of THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD and DETECTIVE COMICS in VF+. I also managed to nail a few of DC's 80 PAGE GIANT issues as well. Occasionally, I found a few in some of the antique stores here in Pennsylvania. Not to mention the occasional antique show/sales over at such malls as Monroeville Mall and South Hills Village.
