Now that Joe Wilson has been found to be a lying fraud will there be an apology to Cheney and Scooter Libby?

Have you seen "Loose Change - 2nd Edition" ? I'd be interested to see what a die-hard Bush supporter says about it...

I don't go in for vast government conspiracies, but the information this movie brings forward is chilling.

"As the fifth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks approaches, Loose Change has become a magnet for those who have come to believe the worst about their government. Originally posted in April 2005 and already updated in a "second edition," the entire project cost about $6,000 to produce -- a sum that wouldn't cover a day's catering on the set of Oliver Stone's straightforward drama World Trade Center, which opens Wednesday."

Please provide the readers digest version. I really don't want to set through an hour and a half of Michael Moore crap.

Yeah, actually I was going to recommend only watching the opening segment. It (the opening) is only about 10 minutes long, and it was after that that they lost my interest.

But the first ten minutes contain some pretty disturbing stuff.

I watched the first 15+ minutes and found nothing that would lead me to believe that the United States government orchestrated the 9/11 attacks. The military and intelligence agencies are suppose to be running "what if" scenarios for all possible attacks against the United States (they wouldn't be doing their job if the weren't). I think the video demonstrates that 9/11 happened because our military and intelligence agencies were cut to the bone and inadequate for today’s world. We didn't have the military or intelligence assets in place to prevent and/or deal with the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks.

However, there does seem to be certain people around the world agreeing with the America attacked itself conspiracy.

I tend to agree with you. I don't think we were attacked by our own government directly, but it certainly wouldn't be the first time "we" (Cheney) supplied Osama with the idea and the means for attacking someone.

Cheney is the only one (in power) who profits from this whole mess. I almost pity GWB at this point, as he appears to be the unwitting pawn in a larger scheme.

Guess I missed the Cheney connection. Care to expand?

I wouldn't consider myself a fan of the current administration, but never in my wildest paranoid fantasies would I think that the attack on 9/11 was nothing but a lucky sequence of events for the terrorist. I've never heard any of my liberal friends even hint at it being done by our government. Anyone who says that is out of his mind or else a radical right winger trying to paint liberals as crazy lefties.

Do I blame the Bush Administration for 9/11? No. Do I blame Clinton? No. Do I blame Bush Admin #1? Hell yeah. But I am biased in that regard.
